A Message from the President
Dear Members of the White Plains Bar Association,
It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility that I
write to you as the new President of the White Plains Bar
Association. I am honored to serve this distinguished legal
community and grateful for the opportunity to build upon the strong
foundation laid by those who have led before me.
As we begin this new chapter together, I look forward to
collaborating with our Officers and Directors to strengthen our
organization, foster meaningful connections within our close-knit
community, and support the ongoing professional development of
our members.
Over the coming year, my goals include:
• Increasing member engagement and reconnecting with both
current and past members;
• Enhancing our CLE offerings across diverse practice areas;
and
• Ensuring that the White Plains Bar Association remains a
hub for collaboration, growth, and learning for attorneys in
our legal community.
I am pleased to share several exciting updates over the past year:
1) Newly Redesigned Website: We are proud to announce the
launch of our newly redesigned website: https://www.wpbar.legal/.
Our new website has a user-friendly portal making it easier than
ever to join or renew your membership, stay informed about
upcoming events and CLE programs, and engage with the
organization.
2) CLE Programs: After a long journey over the past few years, the
White Plains Bar Association has become an accredited New York
State Continuing Legal Education provider. We have several
exciting CLE programs in the pipeline for this coming year and look forward to offering high-quality CLE programs in various practice areas in the years to come. Any members who are interested in presenting CLE programs are encouraged to contact us.
3) Social Events: Social gatherings provide great opportunities to connect with colleagues, network with members of the organization, and continue to grow our legal community. Over the past few years, we have planned the following events, which we aim to continue this year: Meet the Judicial Candidates, Post-Holiday Party, Pizza with the Mayor, and our Past Presidents’ Luncheon and Annual Meeting.
4) Sponsorship Opportunities: We are deeply grateful to our members and community partners who support the White Plains Bar Association through event and annual sponsorship. Each sponsorship tier includes membership packages and affords sponsors dedicated visibility on our
website. Sponsors are also provided with the opportunity to address the organization at events and CLEs. If you are interested in a sponsorship opportunity, please visit our website for more
details: https://www.wpbar.legal/resources. As we move forward, I encourage each of you to take full advantage of all that the White Plains Bar Association has to offer. Your engagement is what makes our organization thrive. I am thrilled to work with all of you in the year ahead to build a stronger, more connected legal community in White Plains and invite you to renew your membership. Please do not hesitate to share your ideas and voice as we work together to strengthen our legal community. Thank you for your continued support of the White Plains Bar Association. The WPBA is thrilled to announce that the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board has granted us accredited provider status, which is a significant milestone for our organization. This esteemed recognition allows the WPBA to offer New York State Continuing Legal Education (NYS CLE) credit for a variety of continuing legal education courses that we present in traditional live formats, including interactive web conferences. Soon, we will enjoy the honor of being listed among the official accredited CLE providers by the NYS Continuing Legal Education Board, marking a new chapter in our commitment to high-quality legal education and professional development. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Anastazia Sienty and all the dedicated CLE presenters and organizers who have contributed their time and effort over the past five years to make this achievement possible through their unwavering commitment and passion.
If you are an attorney interested in sharing your expertise by presenting a CLE program to the WPBA membership, we warmly encourage you to get in touch with us! We look forward to the opportunity to connect with you and collaborate on engaging educational offerings that will benefit our community.
